This source speaks on how everyone is forced to be nice and agreeable just as how the lady in the “Nosedive” episode does to satisfy people.

Essay Concerns & Questions
1)What are you most concerned about within your essay at this point? Be specific.
-I am most concerned about my body paragraphs specifically about what other mini-claims will go into it. Finding three claims was enough but finding smaller ones in my article is much more challenging.
2) What would be most helpful to discuss/look at on Tuesday (the day the essay is due)?
-I believe looking at each article and giving a summary of each will be most helpful to the class.
Draft Response Essay One
My conversation with Cameron was about his draft ideas and article. He is selecting the article that discusses the cell phones hijacking our minds. His thesis was on point but could get a little more clear about his claim. I believe he should organize his ideas to formulate a good draft. I also believe if he can make multiple claims that will improve his paper.

I received a total of 60 points placing me in the mild nomophobia, which is basically I can survive without the use of a smartphone, but I would get antsy every once in a while to use it although I’m not overwhelmed by it.
I do believe that if a person get so consumed into his or her smartphone it can effect that person behavior and intellectual thoughts. The more we rely on our phones the less independent we become. I do agree with the article however for me my test results prove that I can operate without my cellular device. Living without a phone is like living a whole separate life away from any networking and only face to face connections. My results do not support the thesis of the article because I don’t rely on my phone every second of the day.
Ways of Responding Post
When thinking about the future, to me is imagining what the world would be like as a whole and how we as people and the things we surround ourselves with have evolved. I believe when the author of the article says “futurology is almost always wrong”, because no one can really know everything that’s going to happen in the future, but I am certain that we as people mindsets will change and that will effect the thigs such as technology, cars, or clothes. People tend to focus on the materialist things that will change in the future, but with out us humans changing I believe nothing else will change in the future.
The Future of Higher Education
Future college students will face high debt after graduating college. This is because in ten years technology will be highly advance meaning students will need to learn how to operate this new technology. More education means more money. With higher education, more advance jobs in the workforce will be created. The workforce will need qualified candidates to fill these positions. Yes, these predictions are important now not just in the future. To become active in the future would mean paying a lot more for school and seeking the new advance jobs the community has to offer.
